Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BusLivery handles information for the BusLivery app, website, and creator panel. It covers Google sign-in, uploads, downloads, notifications, and related community features.

1. Introduction

Welcome to BusLivery (“BusLivery”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use our website, mobile application, creator tools, and related services (together, the “Services”).

By creating an account, browsing content, downloading files, uploading creations, or otherwise using BusLivery, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

This Policy is intended to meet common transparency expectations for consumer apps distributed through Google Play and for web services that use Google Sign-In and cloud hosting.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details from Google such as your name, email address, profile photo URL, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.

Creator verification information. If you apply to become a creator, you may submit a public username and identity-related documents or images that you choose to upload for verification (for example selfie or ID images). These materials are used only to review creator eligibility and to protect the community from abuse.

Content you upload. Creators may upload thumbnails, description text, optional YouTube links, and downloadable files such as liveries, mods, horns, maps, accessories, or other packages. Uploaded content and related metadata (category, file name, size, timestamps, approval status) are stored to operate the catalog.

Usage and activity data. We may collect information about how you interact with the Services, including content views, downloads, shares, reports, device type, approximate network information, app version, and diagnostic or crash-related events needed to keep the Services reliable.

Notifications data. If you enable push notifications, we may store a device notification token so we can send service messages such as upload status, review outcomes, or download-related alerts.

Support communications. If you contact us by email or in-app channels, we keep the information you provide so we can respond and resolve your request.

3. How We Use Information

Provide and operate the Services, including authentication, browsing, searching, downloading, uploading, sharing, and creator tools.

Review creator applications and user-generated content for quality, safety, policy compliance, and approval or rejection workflows.

Count and display community statistics such as views, downloads, and shares, and improve discovery of content.

Send transactional or service notifications (for example upload complete, verification updates, or important account notices).

Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, unauthorized access, intellectual-property abuse, and other harmful activity.

Analyze aggregated usage to improve performance, fix bugs, and plan new features.

Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, community guidelines, and legitimate business interests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use creator identity documents for advertising.

4. Legal Bases and Choices

Depending on your location, we process information based on one or more of the following: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, community safety), consent (where required, such as certain notifications or optional data), and legal compliance.

You may update your profile name or photo where the product allows it, disconnect Google access from your Google account settings, disable push notifications in your device settings, and request deletion of your account or uploaded content by contacting us.

If you are a creator, withdrawing from the creator program or deleting verification materials may limit your ability to upload or monetize until verification is completed again.

5. How We Share Information

Service providers. We use trusted infrastructure providers to host data, process authentication, store files, and deliver notifications. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual or platform terms. Current categories include cloud database hosting, object storage for media/files, Firebase Authentication / Google Sign-In, and push notification delivery.

Public content. Content you publish (or that is approved for publication) may be visible to other users of the app and website, including your creator username, profile photo, upload titles, descriptions, thumbnails, statistics, and downloadable files intended for the community.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of BusLivery, our users, or the public.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice practices.

We do not share creator identity documents publicly. Access is limited to administrators reviewing verification.

6. Downloads, Files, and Device Storage

When you download content, files may be saved to folders on your device (for example a BusLivery folder under Downloads on Android) so you can use them with supported games or tools. Those local copies are controlled by you and your device operating system.

The mobile app may request permissions that are necessary for its features, such as internet access, notifications, camera or photo library access for profile or verification uploads, and foreground service permissions to keep large downloads running when the app is minimized. Permission prompts describe the purpose at the time of request.

We encourage you to download only from BusLivery and to scan files with your own security tools if you have concerns. User-generated files are provided by creators; BusLivery reviews submissions administratively but cannot guarantee that every third-party file is free of defects.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and profile information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Services.

Uploaded content and related metadata are retained while the content remains on the platform, including while pending review, approved, rejected, or blocked, unless deleted earlier by you or by administrators for policy reasons.

Creator verification documents are retained for as long as needed to complete review, maintain creator status records, investigate abuse, or meet legal obligations, and may then be deleted or restricted.

Server logs, security records, and aggregated analytics may be kept for shorter operational periods unless a longer retention period is required for investigations or compliance.

When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or accounting reasons.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls for administrative tools, and authenticated APIs.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for not sharing access to your devices with untrusted parties.

If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will take appropriate steps and provide notices as required by applicable law.

9. Children’s Privacy

BusLivery is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action, including deleting the information where required.

10. International Processing

BusLivery may be operated using servers and service providers located in different countries. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be processed in locations outside your state or country of residence, which may have different data-protection rules.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers and platform terms for cross-border transfers.

11. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law (including if you are in the EEA/UK or certain other regions), you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or restrict certain personal information; to object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.

California residents and residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, and sharing disclosures. We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly defined under those laws.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to third-party websites, YouTube videos, app stores, or other services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to third parties.

Google Sign-In and Firebase services are governed in part by Google’s privacy documentation in addition to this Policy.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or website.

Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
